Lovely walk through a Eucalyptus forest before entering a lovely cool rainforest. The track winds around onto a boardwalk which totally surrounds a strangler fig where the host has totally rotted away. A number of educational signs give some great information for the younger members of the family.

Completed this as part of a 10km walk - Egernia Circuit, Thylogale Track & Pitta Circuit. Started and finished at Jolly’s lookout. A terrific level walk with minimal steps. Pademelons, birds & a lace monitor. Very quiet & peaceful.

Great little sign posts along the way to keep kids engaged and learn about the depths of a rainforest.

Beautiful short track in the rainforest. I loved the boardwalk around the huge strangler fig. Some great educational signs for kids and grown ups! I did this as part of an 11.5km return walk from Jolly’s Lookout (Egernia Circuit, Thylogale Track & Pitta Circuit). Very quiet in the morning and loads of wildlife.

Super easy walk with lots of photography opportunities. I walked this track in the afternoon light and it was spectacularly beautiful in rainforest!

A pleasant walk through the rainforest. Easy enough for families with small kids. The informational signs throughout the walk are great. The sign in the picnic area states this walk is the Rainforest Circuit (2km), this is not correct. The track is definitely the Pitta Circuit (1km return).

Did the 1km circuit at a slow speed - took us about 30min. Great 300 year old fig tree. A very easy & enjoyable walk varying between open eucalypt & rainforest. Spotted a pademelon along the way.

A lot of information is provided on such a short walk. There was a nice fire circle at the start of the walk. Not sure if this is available to the public or only with a ranger. I combined this with Egernia Cct and Thylogale Track making a combined total of about 10.5km.
