The walking track leads around the base of Mount Tibrogargan, through casuarina groves, open eucalypt and melaleuca forests. The track allows for great views of Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Cooee (to the north east). Keep an eye out for circling peregrine falcons. There are a number of seats along the way for those that like to stop and take it all in.

This is an easy but interesting walk around the mountain and past others.

Pleasant walk around the Tibrogarden base.

We thought that we would take it easy on our first Bushwalk of the new season, having had three months out due to injury and 'the heat'. Yep, we don't climb mountains at this time of year in South East Queensland!
We included the Trachyte Circuit on the walk and given that it was a scorching hot day we were pretty 'bushed' by the end.

Pleasant walk. Bring your insect repellent!

I found this walk a bit boring.

xxxNickyxxx on Nov, 2016

Very easy walk. Most of the views blocked by trees.

Kay on 7 May, 2016

Nice views. Short hike.

SabrinaBlaas on 16 Apr, 2016

All pros from this walk. Didn't see a falcon, but the walk is beautiful, with rugged terrain. If you head north first, towards the end you will be rewarded with a gobsmacking close-up view of Tibrogargan's south face. Aside from that, the trees get in the way a bit.

Good challange for the whole family.

Was a great little walk with the family :)

This is a regular quick walk for us. Recently done this one on my own simply for fitness. This track is becoming very eroded though with a couple of trees across the track. Agree with previous comments that you spend a lot of time looking where to put your feet.

Did this as an easy stroll with 10kg baby in ergo carrier. Some areas of track with shaley crumbly rock. Cant wait to come back to explore the other tracks also.

Sarah on 25 Apr, 2015

Nice stroll.

Easy to walk circuit that takes you through some lovely undergrowth. Path was a little overgrown, didn’t look like it had been used much recently but still easy to follow path.

Kristy-Lee on Aug, 2014

combine with the other circuit track to make for a nice long walk

J on 24 Oct, 2013

Easy walk although spent more time looking down than up due to rocks on track. Enjoyable track and will do again.

Steen on 31 Mar, 2013

Nice easy walk, sadly most of the views have be overgrown by trees and bushes. Still its a great trail for a brisk walk.
