Great walk, Nice views. This walk starts walking through gates and a cow paddock. the first 2.2kms is purely uphill some parts are a harsh incline. rocky, gravely, loose dirt.. sliding will happen. it levels out then you head down with steep declines over the same type of terrain. overall a great walk. wear good shoes.

Did this walk without reading any reviews and was sorely disappointed when the view consisted off phone towers but we pushed through some underbrush and got A view. Calves were burning on the way up and the leaf litter on the ground made going down a slippery slide. Little dry for the pools but overall would go again.

Went for a night viewing of the glowworms but got stuck with A LOT of people/teenagers who didn't understand the "Don't shine torches on the worms or use flash photography" resulting in being blinded and scared wormies. However walking back to the car the track and walls are covered in glowworms which turned out pretty well.
