Comments

I wouldn’t rate this walk as hard, there is a bit of uphill but its fairly gentle and was a nice informative walk. I have done it by itself but also as part of the Mt Mathieson circuit.

Agree with others. Not hard at all. I completed this as part of Mt Mathieson trail. Nice views of Spicers Peak. Became a bit arduous by the end. Worth the quick detour to Moss's well for the birds. Someone left a marker to point towards a Satin Bower Birds bower, cheers whoever you are, nice spotting!

Easy walking trail.
Fair bit of leaf litter and logs blocking the road.
But there was a heap of 4WD's at the end of the track, so I think maybe but was to stop 4WD access.
Some lovely views of Spicer's Gap

This walk is a part of Mt Mathieson circuit (which has moderate difficulty), definitely not hard - a well-defined old cobblestone road with gentle inclines. 4WD is not required, at least in dry weather.
