Nice surprise away from the busy beach areas on our way back to the motorway. Maintained parkland/ garden that keeps the natural feel. Great picnic spots to spent more time afterwards.

This botanic gardens was a nice surprise. Everything is quite natural and yet well cared for. There is even a coffee shop. We began our walk around the lagoon but we're stopped by the path being taped off with a 'wet paint' message. So we started the track from the other end to see how far around we could get. We did make it a fair way around but had to stop before making it all the way back. We ended up walking another much longer thick - o think a little over 2km.

Not too much to see. I suggest combining this one with the sculpture walk.
