A circular walk in the southern end of Maroochy Botanic Garden, on a natural rough track with creek crossings that passes through a range of ecosystems including eucalypt open forest and riparian rainforest.
Leave the Bruce Highway onto the Sunshine Motorway. Take the first exit (Sippy Down) onto Tanawha Tourist Drive and after 1.7km turn into Main Creek Road. From here, follow the signposts to the Botanic Gardens, where there is ample parking.
From the car park take the Lagoon Walk through the Open Lawns, Rain and Whip Bird Gardens in order to join the Upland Bushwalk at its southern end. From here, follow the track as it meanders through the forest, before joining the Creek Walk that takes you back to the car park.
None.
Leave yourselves enough time at the end to also visit the Bushland Sculpture Garden, which is accessible from the car park.
