a small amount of water going over the falls. lost my way down the bottom i suspect fallen palm fronds covered the track. got my first ever leach.

I did this walk early in the morning and was rewarded with a view of two Albert's Lyrebirds! It's not a hard walk and can be done in under an hour if you're in a rush. Watch your footing as it can be slippery when wet. I have yet to see the waterfall running.

Easy walk.

Walked Witches Falls Circuit and adjoining Witches Chase. Have not walked this track since i was a child. I personally think this is one of the most beautiful and interesting walks on the mountain. Walked very early and passed no-one. Rugged terrain and may be challenging for the beginner. Falls were only weak but still amazing to look at the cliffs below. Lots of interesting birdlife...especially near the seasonal lagoon.

Nice walk this morning, we didn't see much of the falls as there had not been sufficient rain. Most of the signage was seen at the bottom of the platform due to vandalism. Shame as it is QLD oldest national park.

A much quieter track in comparison to Curtis & Cedar Creek Falls. If you're doing this one JUST for the lookout and waterfall it's not, how do i say this... "up there with the rest of them". I still enjoy the walk though, when I do this one it's literally for the added kilometres and impressive towering trees and strangler figs. I like the peacefulness of this walk and how it makes you feel a little further away from reality than the other tracks. If you're heading up to Mt Tamborine feel free to watch my video if you're trying to decide which tracks you'd like to do. :) https://youtu.be/H0rskHPWSjA

Good walk few sections where you need to watch your footing. Definitely not for wet weather but very nice

Good early morning walk after a big rain. Lots of debris on trail but still an easy trail to walk. Good range of scenery and landscape. The creek is cute but not high flow. The section towards the chase has a rocky section that requires a slight bit of attention but adds some fun. lots of wildlife and spotted a large python, so keep a good eye out. Have also walked this trail in the afternoon, the exposed return trail can get quite hot and humid. If traveling in the afternoon extra water might be a good idea.

Easy walk - a fair amount of fallen debris but nothing to worry yourself over.

Did the Chase and Falls trails together, starting at the Chase section. It starting raining lightly not long into the walk, which made the rocky sections a bit slippery. Total walk time was roughly 2.5 hours, including 15 minute rest. Beautiful scenery.

Did this and Witches Chase as an afternoon trip. Nice easy, relaxing walk with a cool little waterfall, though a bit slippery after rain. Track easy to follow, although I did go off-track once at the base - simple to backtrack and find the right path once I realised my mistake. Note the Witches Chase track currently has no sign to mark it, but branches off at the lookout.

Quick little walk although my GPS disagreed with the distance, a little longer than 3km I suspect. Pretty steep although lined with steps and inclining path the whole distance.

This walk is easy, the track can be slippery when it's wet. This area is really humid and most of the stones are covered with moss. I saw a few HUGE trees during the walk. The lookout wasn't that great and the view is blocked by many trees.

Bit muddy , wear covered pants and good foot wear , beware for leaches

Enjoyed the view down the bottom !
(one side of the circuit was still closed)
Saw a tiny snake on the way (probably a Brown snake but only 20 cm long, but very angry ! )

It was nice and sunny as we headed off, down the track 300 meters in, it started raining. This is an example of how rapidly the conditions can change on Tamborine so be prepared. Firstly we went to the Witches falls lookout. The view west is becoming overgrown by many eucalypt trees growing up. And from the lookout the view of the falls are also starting to become obsecured by a palm tree.

ONLY ATTEMPT IF YOU HAVE GOOD NAVIGATIONAL SKILLS AND ARE SELF SUFFICENT.(carry a rope and be very well prepared)

If your prepared to go off track great views from the bottom of the falls are well worth it.

NOTICE: The Witches falls circuit is closed due to landslide and trees from previous storms. ONLY travel along this track if you are well prepared.

On the way back up a scrub turkey lead us all the way to the cemetary !

Great track to see just after it's rain. Watch out it can get really muddy though.

rob.bushman on 14 Mar, 2010

Did this walk during the dry season and the falls were a disappointment. Nice walk though. My kids found giant snail shells.
