Not a difficult walk, some may find this trail tedious, I didn't mind it and the end result is definitely worth it. The rock formation and the view is stunning. Tip: Bring insect repellent. If you're interested we made a short YouTube video covering the hike. https://youtu.be/nEwwoLJFT7M |

This walk/scramble definitely got my heart rate pumping and also reminded me of my fear of heights. In saying that this would be my favourite hike I've completed thus far and not a hike I'll forget anytime soon. The rock formations, the views, the wildlife and the accomplishment of making it up and down is truly so special. MUST DO! Tip: Spend a night at Bald Rock Creek Campgrounds, you can access the track from the grounds and they have hot showers, flush toilets and clean facilities. This one is very much so an adventure hike with short swim legs and a little bit of climbing. Took my partner and I around 3 and 1/2 hours stopping for photo ops. (This truly is a great place for photo ops!) Very quiet spot as well. The water was freezing my tanned skin began to look grey towards the end of the trip and my lips a lovely shade of blue. Lot's of patience required for this one, with calculated steps on small stones vs following very faint over grown paths. Feel free to check out my video if you're wanting to explore the gorge. Beautiful walk and relatively easy. Walk behind three water falls and take advantage of multiple view points/lookouts. Enjoy the impressive display of rock formations, a must do if you're in the area. Unfortunately the trail signs are still currently vandalised. Hot spot for skinks as well. We saw a Land Mullet (Australia's largest skink) & A pink tongued skink featured in my video below if you're interested :) https://youtu.be/GR0ru9nlgU4 |

A much quieter track in comparison to Curtis & Cedar Creek Falls. If you're doing this one JUST for the lookout and waterfall it's not, how do i say this... "up there with the rest of them". I still enjoy the walk though, when I do this one it's literally for the added kilometres and impressive towering trees and strangler figs. I like the peacefulness of this walk and how it makes you feel a little further away from reality than the other tracks. If you're heading up to Mt Tamborine feel free to watch my video if you're trying to decide which tracks you'd like to do. :) https://youtu.be/H0rskHPWSjA

Short and Sweet. Beautiful waterfall, popular swimming hole. If you're on Mt Tamborine, you'll want to check this one out. If it's hot bring togs. It does get pretty busy on a hot weekend. Lot's of Lace Monitors in the surrounded picnic areas. If you're interested the falls are featured in my video where I did a couple of hikes on Mt Tamborine that day. https://youtu.be/H0rskHPWSjA |

Short and easy walk through the rainforest. Beautiful waterfall. I've done this walk in the day and in the night. In the night the area behind the falls has patches of glow worms but no where near as many as the Natural Arch Springbrook. Unfortunately a couple of people felt entitled to ignore the signs/fencing and climb behind the waterfall, more than likely squishy patches of glow worms that you can't actually see in the day. If you're interested check out my video, I did a couple of hikes on Tamborine that day :) https://youtu.be/H0rskHPWSjA

Highly recommend! The top of Mount Mitchell is something you want to experience and the trail itself is just as stunning. The walk is easy with a long but gradual incline. Total walking time for my partner and I at a casual pace 2 hrs and 50 minutes including photo ops. If you're keen, below is a link to a short YouTube video of our hike. :) https://youtu.be/xnfykboCpg8 |

A gradual incline that is not demanding, making it an easy walk with a huge reward at the top. The view is amazing, loved seeing the vegetation growing off the cliff faces and the various rock formations on the way up.

Hiked up the mountain on a beautifully clear day. So much appreciation for the views, definitely worth the effort. Once we were at the top underneath the viewing deck a bandicoot caught us by surprise munching on vegetation. Took us about 3 and 1/2 hours return stopping up the top for snacks and photo ops. Not anywhere near as difficult as I remembered now with an improved fitness level.

Short, steep & sweet. Beautiful ocean views. If you're travelling from a far for the hike, you'll have plenty of time to check out other nearby attractions or do a beach trip as well. |
