A 50km return walk or cycle along the old rail line between Murwillumbah and Crabbes Creek.
This short walk will take you to Cudgen Headland and South Kingscliff, this goes along beaches and Cudgen Creek.
Walk from Coolum Beach to Mount Coolum boardwalk along footpath there and back along the beach with some rock hopping involved along the beautiful beaches.
This shady walk follows a clear, trickling creek through urban bushland. A wide, wooden bridge crosses the creek near the trailhead. There is usually water in the creek, and the thick canopy trees/lush fern trees walk make this a beautiful walk in any weather.
Officially listed as Grade 2/Easy difficulty (unsealed dirt trail, some very short hills along the western bank), this walk is suitable for all ages and most fitness levels.

This well groomed park is a site to behold in spring and summer with its pathways in and around the various flowerbeds and ornamental areas.
A scenic lakeside trail at Cooby Dam, stretching from the picnic area at Loveday Cove to the dam wall. Some sections have a formed track, while other grassy sections may be overgrown or boggy. A great spot for photographing water birds, with good picnic facilities and a large playground.
Officially listed as Grade 3/Medium (some unformed paths + steep/slippery sections), this track is suitable for walkers of most fitness levels.
A casual stroll in and around West Creeks lakes and ponds out to Kearney Springs Wetlands Historic Park.
A short walk though urban bushland, descending into a deep gully with a dam at the bottom. This trail is shared by mountain bikes and can be uneven/slippery after rain. The park has many facilities including BBQ, toilet, tennis court, basketball half court, handball wall, lean-to-ride bike skills track and a small playground.
Officially listed as Grade 3/Medium difficulty (rough surfaces + 2 very steep cemented sections leading in/out of the gully), this track is suitable for walkers with a moderate fitness level.
A nice easy walk along the old abandoned Murwillumbah to Casino railway line (1894 to 2004) from Stokers Siding to the biggest tunnel (524m) on that line, with plenty of glow worms and some micro bats.
This section of the track looks now to be contained within the Northern Rivers Rail Trail - Tweed Section (2023) and no longer restricted.
