This is a lovely walk, so beautiful and not as popular as other walks in the Tamborine area. Despite being right before Christmas and on the weekend there wasn't another person on this walk which was really lovely.

Great Walk! Gold Coast Hinterland (Lamington National Park) |

I ended up having to complete this walk in two stages which was very frustrating due to incomplete information on the Great Walks NP page. Our car shuttle timings were completely off due to road closures that weren't posted on the great walks page which meant we were too late in the day to do the border track on day 1. Days 2 and 3 went smoothly even though again track closures at the end meant a longer walk back to the car and even more stairs. I did enjoy the walk a lot though and when we finally did the border track in January 2019 I felt like I had done the walk. Day two is very long and tiring but the walkers camp was lovely and we had it all to ourselves which was extra special. I loved the 3rd day and didn't mind the stairs at all. |

I completed this walk on Easter Sunday. The track had been recently flooded however there was little sign of this on Sunday with only a couple of small sections still flooded which were easily skirted around. A very easy walk completed in well under the recommended time as per the national park sign.

This is a very steep trail at the beginning which makes for a great heart starter but overall it's not a very long walk and it was easily completed in 45 mins without pushing hard. A nice short walk if you don't have much time but want a bit of outdoor exercise.

We did this walk on a beautiful Australia Day Morning and it took us 3 hours and 15 minutes including the rest stop at the look out. A really lovely walk although its probably even nicer when the weather isn't so hot. Easy navigation with plenty of signs. There was only one spot where we came out onto the road and didn't see a sign telling us which way to go. We headed up the hill on the left and very quickly found the sign indicating the road crossing and which way to go. Lovely walk and we only saw one other couple the whole morning.

I completed this walk in September 2016 and had an absolutely lovely couple of hours walking in sight of the dam. I previously hadn't known this area existed but it was a gorgeous walk and one I would highly recommend. Nice distance on an easy to follow track that reasonably flat.
