This is another of my fav walks at Binna Burra. I did this walk in Feburary, so the falls were spectacular. As spectacular were the Lamington Blue crayfish that were in many of the creeks. If I am short on time I do a shortened version and go and return to the falls the same path, thus avoiding the border track and saving 5 Km.

A good walk once the first half hour is out of the way. Make sure it is during the dry season August/September. It is not an easy track despite being fairly short. Make sure to wear sturdy boots and a walking pole is useful. Also remember the ventolin if you are asthmatic as the track gets quite steep. Don't take your SLR camera with a big lens it will only get in the way. Plenty of birds and terrific views of Currumbin and Mt Warning

an excellent walk - not difficult but it is advisable to go anti clockwise to avoid a steep uphill ascent Also short enough to get up there by 11 and have a decent walk and a cup of coffee at the end. The big treat was seeing a male Paradise Rifle bird just before Picnic rock .
