Easy enough to navigate as you have the fence to guide you. The last part around then up the peak is easy enough. The steeper parts along the fence up towards the peak make this walk worthwhile as it can be challenging. The view is limited but nice. Took just over 3 hours for the round trip.

Started just after it had been raining so it made for some slippery spots. Great views but a little clouded in. Did the west peak as well before heading down. Had lots of fun with this walk.

Went from Hardings Paddock to Flinders Plum picnic area including the Mount Blaine Summit Trail. Just over 13km and three hours it took. The Goolman Trail wasn't too hard with some moderate inclines and just as many declines. Would definitely be a little more taxing going from Flinders Plum to Hardings Paddock. Plenty of signage and easy trail to navigate as it is an off road vehicle track the whole way. Mount Blaine Summit was a little taxing at the end but well worth the views it provided. Very good idea to have a pick up at the other end, although if you manage it right the return trip from Hardings Paddock to Mount Blaine Saddle and back would be about 24km in total which would take about 6 hours at a good steady pace. Will be trying this option next time now I have seen the trail. Didn't do from Flinders Plum around Flinders Peak part of the track though which would make up the extra 7km or so but probably one that could be done in a return trip from the picnic area if you don't have a pick up at its completion. Hope this info helps.

About 13km if you include Bare Rock. A relatively easy walk with some very stunning views, on a clear day!!
Gamlen Circuit (Ipswich - Flinders Goolman Conservation Estate) |

Do this on a semi regular basis as a circuit run, usually completing two laps of the circuit, which is a total of about 5km or so. I find it more challenging if you take the Goolman Lookout trail then turn up towards the Rocky Knoll and coming back down to the paddock area. A good run, would be an easy walk though.
White Rock Multi-User Trail (White Rock - Spring Mountain Conservation Estate) |

A very good trail run with the incline towards white rock quite challenging. Loop around the rock and you will meet back up with the trail where you turn off left to go up to the rock on the way there. I take the little white rock lookout trail on the way back before finishing off the run back at the car park. Just over 7km if you do it that way.

Challenging in some parts but for the most of it a moderate hike with a good view at the top. Nice little cafe back at the lake to have a meal after finishing the hike. Can be slippery in the wet so wear the appropriate footwear. |
