| It took me about 30 minutes to reach the top with stopping a couple of times along the way. Beautiful views from the top ⛰ Lots of different tracks at the top for you to take in different directions, but I think you would eventually get back down mountain no matter which one you took. | Great hike. Could be a quick hour or so hike or take hours resting at beautiful lookouts along the way. Make sure you have a bit of a rock scramble up Surprise Rock. Beautiful view to the coast on a clear day.A bit too far for young kids if just introducing them to hiking. Don't need to be overly fit for this hike as it is pretty much flat ground. Lots of leeches so make sure you take insect repellent.
