Easy to follow trail notes to the North Pinnacle - some difficult sections but nothing too hair-raising. Good varied walking, little evidence of previous hikers. Nice views until cloud descended on us. Had planned to descend via Rocky creek on same day (descent route described here) but due to time taken to get to peak decided to descend to main E/W saddle and go down Peasant's ridge instead. That traverse was much more difficult than expected and we ended up back at the carpark just before dark. |
