Very challenging but beautiful walk in the worlds oldest rainforest. Take food and lots of water/electrolytes (you will sweat a LOT). Very steep with some big steps and uneven ground/ fallen trees and low spikey branches. Had one leech at the top (and it was dry!). Be careful going the extra few minutes for the best views after the top lookout. First 2 km took 1 hour then another hour to the top. Hard on the knees/ joints going down. Start to finish this walk took 4 hours 35 minutes - VERY tired afterwards but totally worth it for the experience :) leave early and there will be a few other walkers on the track throughout. Also had phone reception (Optus) for most of the walk.

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk. Started at 10am when it was very chilly but it soon warmed up. Would be very hot during the summer as there isnt much shade along the walk. Lovely creek with clear water. Interesting boulders. Mostly flat this is an easy 13km. Mulligan's campground is a great spot for lunch (or camping). Dont forget to stop at Rasberry Lookout if driving from Glen Innes, the views are spectacular.

Stunning walk, quite challenging, we must have taken a wrong turn somewhere and ended up doing a few more kms. Saw two lyrebirds on the track! Misty, mossy rainforest, wear appropriate shoes/ clothes!

Nice walk relatively flat however be prepared with water as it was very hot and some areas are exposed. Variety of terrain made it interesting with good lookouts half way. Very peaceful walk (although you do hear the road in some spots)- we only passed two other couples on the track. Would recommend but take plenty of water :)

Wow what a view from the top! Definitely a must do walk if you've got a taste for risk and adventure. Follow the paint up the face. Take your time going up and down the The Pyramid, the rock can be slippery if there's even a drop of water. Do not attempt if there's any chance of rain. Exposed rock + Lightning = Slippery electrifying death. 2 hours return including 15 min chill at the top.

Very nice walk, take lots of water and sunscreen it gets really hot out there. Take first aid kit too because snakes love that environment in the heat. Nice views from the The Sphinx

Beautiful walk, palms, ferns, wildlife and not many people. Make sure you keep an eye on the track! In some parts the track veers off randomly and then stops. Make sure you back track and stay on the main track.

Great walk! We started at the information centre (lower car park), walk down the road 400m and you will see the sign for the Lower Bellbird track on the right. Take this track. The track is easy to follow after this - there's a great palm section to walk to the Ballanjui waterfall (again clearly signed). Uphill (but not too strenuous) back to the 'Binna Burra Lodge' and then the final part of the walk is on the road back to the lower car park. Overall a nice walk, there are also a couple of lookouts on the way! :)

Fantastic walk! Took us 5 1/2 hours at a steady pace with 30 mins of stopping all up. Lots of creek crossings and waterfalls, might be a bit hard to cross after a lot of rain and there would be lots of leeches after some rain. The rain stopped about 4 days before we got there so we didn't see any leeches. We did see 2 snakes (big python and a whip snake), 6 big lizards, goanna, frogs, paddy melons, crayfish, colorful birds and some pesky bush turkeys. All in all a really really nice walk.

Wow what a beautiful walk, so many gorgeous waterfalls and creeks, and not many people. Rained most of time unfortunately so the track was very muddy. I would of pulled off about 30 leeches in total so take any sort of insect repellent and spray your legs and shoes well. Highly recommend doing this walk. We took our time and finished in about 6 hours because it was very slippery. Could do it in 5 hours on a dry day.
