Walked this, this morning. Started climbing at 6.05 am to see the sunrise. For a wet and cloudy morning it was a great walk/climb. Would definitely recommend this to any fitness level but be sure not to walk when too slippery since the top has very slippery rocks to climb over.

After a very wet day yesterday the swamp was really muddy and wet. Had to retrace our initial route. Apart from that the Flying Foxes were abundant and very easy to see on the walk. Routes aren't marked but easy to follow the pathways.

After missing the left turn at the fork and tracking back the walk was well marked. Walked the Mountain in less than an hour (up and down). Easy walk up, down is a bit more challenging with loose rocks. Due to the rain last night the rocks were slippery as well but made it in one piece and the views were amazing.

Don`t miss the sign! Parking across the sign is basically just parking next to the road as there is no designated parking area. After the white rock open area the climb starts. Very steep and watch out for loose rocks - had to keep a hand stretched out to keep balance when falling. Apart from being extremely steep the view is worth it. The book to write your initials in isn`t there anymore but place a rock on the pile and you`re good to go.

Started when the gates opened. A great and relatively easy walk. A few parts had loose sand to walk through but other than that the path was prominent and clearly marked with arrows. Taking the long way to White Rock (not the steps) you’ll pass a big rock you can climb to see the views without climbing White Rock itself. |

Quite a workout on the knees but managed to jog it up and down :) view at the top and along the pathway is amazing. Truly a must do walk for all. Finished in under 25 minutes up and down. |
