| Flew into Roma and hired a four wheel drive to go to Carnarvan Gorge. Had a great time visiting the gorge. We added a few more walks on our three day stay, like the Art Gallery, Wards Canyon,Amphitheater,Moss Garden,and Boolimba Bluff. Checked out the Platapus which is done early morning or late evening just before sundown. Had a BBQ every night this was a great adventure. | ||||

| First time up among the clouds. This is my very first real hike and I was puffing like a billy. We all made it up the last 20 or so meters which was a bit harder but made it to see nothing the cloud cover was so thick we all came away with the notion of coming back. | ||||
