Was a very slippery, wet climb into the cloud due to having lots of rain in the weeks prior. Thankful for the ropes still available to use on some sections of the climb. Disappointed to see the welcome arch at the start of the track and the welcome sign at the top, had been removed. (Think they were replaced by a big, old brown goat that called out several times at the start and finish of the climb) :) |

Lovely time of the year for this mountain climb. A few rocks and boulders getting to the top were a little bit moist but able to be manouvered around. Took us just over 3 hrs return and that's with a good 30 mins on the top. |

Today we climbed Coolum from the western side, up to the top via a track that was more like a water course. Rocky all the way to the top. Down the front side overlooking the ocean and then back up and over and down to the car. Well worth the adventure!

Nice easy track through some marshy, swampy areas especially as it had rained a couple of days ago and rained quite heavy as we reached the end. The map refers to a second gate just before allandale rd. If you get to this road you have missed the track. A few hills but not too steep. A very pleasant walk but a little longer than stated. We did just over 12 kms

This was our 2nd mountain of the day. My first time and it was very steep and difficult. A narrow concrete path that winded up and up and up until you reach the lookout. Only about 30 mins to the top but a very satisfying view!

Walked from Kondalilla to Obi Obi creek and back again. Beautiful waterfalls as the rain had provided alot of water! No difficult parts just a long way; 21 kms clocked on Endomondo. Was pretty tired and worn out but most enjoyable! Training for Kilimanjaro |

Found the mountain no problem although we did commence the walk at a different gate further west. Made our own way up to about half way when we found some of the orange tape on the trees. Followed these to the top where the views were amazing as were all the way up. Cloudy day and the rain held off just perfect for us. A lot of scrambling involved and grass, leaves and dead undergrowth that covered rocks so had to be careful when we trod. Overall a most enjoyable and a little challenging climb with half the adventure being staying to the track. Took us a little under 2 hours up and back. |

Very steep climb. lots of 'wait a while' and loose undergrowth. Was very appreciative of the ropes in occasional spots. We chose not to come down the same track once walking the whole ridge but instead found a gully and made our way down through loose undergrowth and thankfully there were plenty of vines to hang on to! Alot of laughs and most adventurous for all 9 of our group! |

Starts off quite tame and then you reach 'the sign'! the track steepens with loose rocks. Negotiating through some crevices and boulders, you will reach the top and oh, what a view! Lots of rounded large rocky area to explore.
