| A pleasant stomp in the woods on a Sunday arvo. The Red Arrow section was very busy, but very few folk ventured further and we had the Blue Arrow virtually to ourselves. | ||||

| A few small steps for a bloke and his wife on the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. The according to the www the summit is 375m above sea level, so a bit more than the 269m stated. Advise taking the path to the right as you enter the campsite, rather than the concrete road on the far side. This way you get the hardest part of the hike out of the way first and can then enjoy a gentle stroll back to the bar! | ||||

| Had to go back to the top again because I forgot to bring my drone last week! Of course the only place to safely launch and recover is at the very top so I couldn't cheat. A lot more folk on the mountain today, including a few runners. | ||||

| Hard yakka, but very satisfying when you reach the summit. Not quite the 360 degrees views mentioned by others, at least not an all round 360 view, but stunning and peaceful none-the-less. This was obviously a good time of year to climb as I only saw 12 other folk on the mountain during my 4 hour slog. | ||||

| Pretty hot and humid this time of year and my boots blew out on the first climb. Note to self, check boots for wear and tear regularly in the tropics! In all we hiked 16 klicks as we started at the Smith's track. Plenty of mossies, leeches and snakes too. | ||||
