Very nice walk, a bit challenging but not too much. Fairly busy for a midweek day, but certainly not crowded.

Second time we have done this walk; first time after the bushfires. Arrived around 1030, still a few parking places in the carpark. A more open feel after the fires, but also lots of weeds growing. We passed a few others going up and down, but had the summit to ourselves for the 30 minutes or so that we enjoyed our picnic lunch. Overall a great walk on a lovely sunny day with almost no wind.

A scenic walk along the creek bed, a little bit of rock hopping required and a few trees and tree roots to clamber around or over or under. Nice little waterfall at the end.

A challenging walk, especially for my wife who has short legs and found it a bit hard to climb some of the steps. But a fabulous view from the top - a great spot for a picnic lunch. Lots of turtles at the base of the dam wall. Near enough to 3 hrs walking time, with a half hour for lunch at the top. |
