Lake Hamilton is located at the eastern end of Hamilton and is surrounded by 25 hectares of parkland.
An attractive landscaped manmade lake used for various water-based activities featuring an excellent walking/bike track of 4.2km.

Getting there:

From the centre of Hamilton take Gray Street north before crossing the rail line onto Mill Lane and immediately right into the car park.

This walk can be accessed from numerous roads around the lake including the Glenelg Highway and Rippon Road.

Comments

An hour to spare before we leave town so I took the opportunity to investigate the lake. A lovely tranquil walk around the lake enjoying the bird life.
