Hike through rainforest and across two swinging bridges (think Indiana Jones) over a stream.
2.7km return trail, a few rock scrambles. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear. Views are amazing.
This coastal walk is situated in County Wicklow, Ireland. Abundance numbers of birdlife and plant/flowers. Coastal views are spectacular. An easy walk but some climbing, the Dart train is available at the end of the walk for return. No permits or maps required.
Combination of three short walks the Esknamucky Walk, Waterfall Walk and The River Walk in the Glengarrif Woods Nature Reserve.
Mt. Vesuvius is a very historical active volcano, being the volcano that destroyed Pompeii and also being the battle ground for Spartacus against the Romans. The views up Mt. Vesiusvius are pretty epic and is really worth the hike.
Paht of the Gods is an epic hike that takes you along the stunning Amalfi Coast. The hike isn't particularly difficult and can be completed by people of all ages and fitness abilities. If you are lucky you might some wild mountain goats.
A walk in Cinque Terre National Park from one of the five towns Monterosso al Mare to Punta Mesco which offers a vantage point of the five towns and the coast.
Akechi Castle is located in Akechi-cho in Ena Gifu Prefecture. Akechi is the supposed birthplace of the famed Akechi Mitsuhide. The castle at Akechi is ruins and there isn't anything remaining. There are sign posts along the way with information in both English and Japanese that explain the history of the castle and surrounding area of Akechi. From the castle ruins you get a nice view of Akechi primary and Akechi middle school.
