Enjoyable walk, slippy in sections. I finished it in 1:20hr

Had a few breather breaks and water, trekking up the hill to the top of the ridge at the start. Would recommend a early start as it was extremely hot mid morning, but the swim at the end makes it all worthwhile.

After going uphill it is a lovely walk through rainforest. Parts of the track are overgrown and a bit neglected but well worth the walk.

The beginning slope is punishing if you’re not fit but after that a lovely walk. Worth it..

This was a really lovely walk but when you see the sign that says water and fitness required it is not wrong. The first 1km is straight uphill and pretty steep followed by a gentle downhill and then more uphill but less steep through the rainforest for another 500m or so. After that it is a pretty easy walk with some very exposed parts. We had a late start from Brisbane so ended up doing this between 1030-1230 and it was hot and humid so I wouldn't recommend doing it in the heat of summer.

Quite challenging at beginning and feels like it never ends. Took an extraordinary 3 hours to do with two children. After recent rain the track was just mud in a lot of places and very slippery. Leave early in the cool and take plenty of water and snacks.

Have done this walk twice. First in 2009 and then in 2014. Fitness and good footwear are a must. Steep inline for the first part of this walk followed by a nice decline walk. There were times that we questioned if we were still on the path as there is little signage or defined track after the decline. Cool off in the creek at the end.

Starts off quite interesting through creek, then rain forest followed by a hike up the hill , follow this around and once walking downhill nice walk ending up other end of camp site.

First section is a bit of a slog and don't expect any views for it. Creeks a great place to cool of when finished.

The first 1 km is hard, and water is definitely a must. There is a swimming hole at the bottom to cool off.
