Coomera Circuit

Lamington National Park

This track showsoff some of Binna Burra's best assets and is one of the prettiest walks in this section of the park. The waterfalls are at their best after rain. The track does cross over the Coomera River several times and crossings can become tricky if water levels are high.

Route/Trail notes

An easy trail to walk. Can become hazardous especially after rain. Some areas along the Border track have numerous exposed roots. The walk can be extended to include the Hobwee Circuit if you also want some views!

This is another of my fav walks at Binna Burra. I did this walk in Feburary, so the falls were spectacular. As spectacular were the Lamington Blue crayfish that were in many of the creeks. If I am short on time I do a shortened version and go and return to the falls the same path, thus avoiding the border track and saving 5 Km.

Lovely walk. Not too hard. Kids loved the waterfall look out.

Cool walk, nice view from lookout platform.

I've been on this walk three times with the first time limited to a landslide just after Coomera falls, the highlight of the walk would have to be Bahnamboola falls "the top part" it's not far from Coomera falls but it's easily missed because you don't see it from the track, there's an overgrown side track on the left just passed the sign.

The track is in good condition. No fallen trees. But as we finished the walk and were back at the camp ground the weather started closing in and the rain started. So I would think the track conditions 9-8-10 to at least the 13th or 14 th August will be slippery conditions. So recommend walking poles and take care at all cliff edges.
The best thing about the rain is that the Coomera Falls will be more spectacular !

Another day... Another walk....

The best bit is PAST the Coomera Falls lookout at 6k's.

A great walk love the Coomera Crevice area. Add Mt hbwee and Mt Wagawn for an excellent whole day walk.
