Coomera Circuit

Lamington National Park

This track showsoff some of Binna Burra's best assets and is one of the prettiest walks in this section of the park. The waterfalls are at their best after rain. The track does cross over the Coomera River several times and crossings can become tricky if water levels are high.

Route/Trail notes

An easy trail to walk. Can become hazardous especially after rain. Some areas along the Border track have numerous exposed roots. The walk can be extended to include the Hobwee Circuit if you also want some views!

Brilliant! The highlight of Binna Burras tracks. Coomera gorge is breathtaking. Plenty of crays, waterfalls and cascades. Great day all round.

Did this walk after a lot of rain so the waterfalls were spectacular when but the creek crossings were quite treacherous due to the fast flowing current. Track can be difficult to find when crossing the creeks too and is slippery when it’s wet. Well worth the effort though with many waterfalls making the walk fantastic.

4.5 hours, falls were flowing nicely after recent storms

Beautiful walk with beautiful waterfalls. My favourite walk at Binna Burra

Loved this walk. Loads of waterfalls and rock pools, very pretty terrain. Very undulating but otherwise quite easy.

Beautiful walk, not difficult but fairly long. Numerous creek crossing that were fine but some would be quite difficult after heavy rain. Many waterfalls to see. Great winter walk but not strenuous so if you are looking for ascents and descents this is not the walk for you.

This walk is one of the most beautiful walks i have done
..its long but not challenging...i got attacked by leeches quite intensily so wear long pants and take insect repellent

Nattynat on Jul, 2016

A beautiful walk with lots of waterfalls and creek crossings. Would be difficult to attempt after heavy rain.

Great walk, with stunning views and beautiful waterfalls

A great beginners hike and easily completed with minimal hiking experience! The one thing I think this hike does for experienced hikers is ask the question 'Can I get down to the bottom of Coomera Falls' and with the answer being 'yes', I'm going to head there!

Lots of gentle creek crossings. Did this one in 4-5hrs after an unplanned detour to Binna Burra at midday. Mostly gentle gradients.

Really nice walk! The waterfalls are beautiful and the gorge was flowing nicely. Had lunch there and saw plenty of Lamington Crayfish. Summer would be nice for a swim in the waterholes.

I did this track for the second time, however this time I only hiked to the Coomera waterfall and back to Binna Burra rather than doing the entire circuit. I think it was a total of about 7-8kms. This is a great walk through some awesome dense rain forest. Coomera falls is one of my favorite waterfalls in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The track is quite easy and flat, the track is well worn in from years of people hiking this track so it would be almost impossible to get lost.

This is not hard. Medium probably. Just long walk, definitely nice.

A great walk. A few first timers in the group, but they had no troubles. Long but not too steep at all
