Simply breathtaking walk. This is quite possible the best walk ive been on for many years. there are some ups and downs as you trek to these beautiful areas but the walk itself is very good. tracks are very well managed and there are alot of spots you can sit and rest. I will be back for sure!

Entry is from radar hill road. There are 4 walking tracks to choose from here varying in length and difficulty. Areas are well signposted. We did the Rocky Creek Circuit (5.6 km) this morning. Tracks themselves are very wide and well kept. Keep an eye out for passing mountain bikers. Good canopy sheltering out the sun. More of a recreational trail rather than a genuine bushwalk but great fun regardless. Definitely recommended to tick off your bucket list!

Did this walk today with high expectations as I know the area. Walked for about 1 hr following the signs then came to an unsigned fork in the road we were on. Continued left then about 20 minutes later came to another unsigned fork in the road. Continued left again and cam back out onto the Delicia track, no where near the destination. I would suggest that you need to take the right fork at the first intersection to continue to the day camp and then onto the falls. What a difference a couple of signs would have made as it is a great walk through some excellent rain forest. I will have another go at this though and this time take the right fork in the road!

Wow, what a great walk. Rainforest, tracks in great nic. Great time of year to go. Access to the creek from this track worth a look. Crystal clear water. U can access the creek from any of the 3 (shallow) creek crossings up to No2 day camp area. Take the blow up lilo, the kids will have a ball.

Take heed of the "hard' track acknowledgement. This track is only 700 (ish) metres but is one of the most challenging short climbs you will take on. Quite a steep incline that does not give up till u get to the top. Real calf burner and cardio workout. Found myself walking on the balls of my feet just to keep moving ahead. Great views from the firetower. Definitely worth all the effort! |
