Barker Creek Circuit

Bunya Mountains

A very scenic walk leaving from the Dandabah Camping area, Bunya Avenue. The walk joins up with the shorter Tim Shea Falls walk. Best walked in an anti-clockwise direction for the views and less incline. A couple of side tracks to lookout points. Rainforest, grassy knoll and woodlands

Great walk , followed all the way around and you will stumble upon a couple small waterfalls and some great look out points. Back at car park there's a nice lil restaurant with some good coffee waiting for you :-)

Lovely walk. We did all of the side tracks but found the view from an open paddock on the main track better than the Barker Creek Lookout from which we could see very little. We also couldn't see any falls from the Big Falls Lookout. However, all of the other falls were very pretty. I enjoyed the last leg the best between the Paradise Falls car park and Dandabah - very pretty, yet we didn't pass anyone else on that part of the track.

Easy walk, despite the length. Many great photo opportunities along the way.

Took my 6 year old camping at danebah and we then did the barker creek circuit. I was so proud of her for doing the whole 10km no complaints we really enjoyed the time and found lots of interesting fungi. Beautiful Forrest and country, took us four hours easy going. Looking forward to doing more and getting her really interested.

I combined this walk with the route from Cherry Plain for a bit more of a challenge. The varying forest types are spectacular, with twisting tracks and scenic waterfalls. Looked a bit over prepared as we approached the easier tracks however.

Lovely walk. Easy and nice to camp at Westcott or Burtons Well.

Bunya is one of my favourite places which never fails to please. This is an easy walk with lots of diversity in habitat and some superb views at the lookouts. Ideal for the whole family. Great place to get some good nature photos too.

we thought we'd be smart and camp the night at the edge of the camping area untill the wind blew up that night and nearly blew us off the mountain ... easy walk but always green and cool with lots to see ...
