Maps

The national park publishes a well set out walking track map, it is avalible online or at the QPWS Ranger Station on the Mountain.

Route/Trail notes

Take the route signposted for Festoon Falls. The falls will soon be heard and seen. The falls offer a wonderful photo oppurtunity. Walking downstream from Festoon Falls will take you to the top of Mcgrory Falls. Keep well away from the edge as plants can hide crumbling edges. There are some rock faces that may be suitable for abseiling down to the falls (access without ropes is via Pine Gorge https://www.aussiebushwalking.com/qld/mcgrory-falls-via-pine-gorge)

Permits/Costs

Only for camping overnight in National Park campgrounds.

Again with the Toowoomba Church on the Bunya weekend!
Always a nice walk, especially in the rain.
