Good walk. Downhill most of the entire way to the falls, not too steep though. Take the return trip slow and steady and you'll be fine. Nine areas where the trail has debris over it, nothing major.

A easy walk that packs in a lot to see. Take the time to do the side tracks for Festoon Falls and Mcgrory Lookout as they are well worth the stop. The falls will be even better after some rain.

One of my favorite walks so far. I loved walking beside the small stream and amongst some massive trees. There are a few falls that are so tranquil with the water gently falling. The trip down the side track to the Baker Creek Falls lookout is worth your time for the views alone.

A fairly easy walk, without much challenge. I used it as a warm up before going over to the Mt. Mitchell track. The trail looks like it isn't getting much use as it has areas of debris, some trees over the path and one spot where I had to almost crawl through a meter of vines and thicket, not that I'm complaining because I enjoy a challenge.

Absolutely loved this walk. Yes it is uphill just about the whole way but nothing significant. Some steps the closer you get to the top with a few quiet uneven so a little extra care needs to be taken. Especially one spot where you have to go up and then down steps with a open view to the magnificent valley below. The views at the top is well worth the efforts. I was fortunate enough to have the top all to myself on this day and I sat there and had a snack, rehydrated and listened to the wind in total peace while soaking in the views.

A well marked and easy to follow trail that leads you down gradually to a little stream. There are places to sit by the stream and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. I did find three very curious drawings on a cliff face and have uploaded the pictures, I'd love to know more about them especially if they are true aboriginal in origin and not just drawn by someone at random.
