Entrances to the trails are the Bardon Esplanade (across the creek and bridge) north and south Barnett Rd and Trinder Rd The Gap. There is a goat track just off the Barnett Rd trails (before you reach the dead-end of the track at private property) which connects to the Quarry Trail - You need to walk along a steep ridge to get to it - and this will connect you to the rest of the Mt Coot-tha trails.
This is my taken pathway: Fortitude Valley, New Farm, Riverwalk, Kangaroo Point on a sunny hot day! It took me 1.5h equivalent to 10k & 11,000 steps

There are a number of trails in the Mookin-bah Reserve. All relatively short but can be combined to walk a little over 5km. This walk started at the Greencamp Road entrance and took the Lorikeets then h9neyeater tracks before merging onto the Fairy wren track and walking to Chelsea Road.
The track is signposted and straightforward with the only tricky part at the start of the walk. The walk starts in just a mown grassy track which quickly reaches an a junction that has no signs. Go left and you will quickly be on the bitumen path.
The return journey is approximately 4.3 km
This walk starts across the road from the main stage at the top of the hill at the Muster site and winds up hill through thick bush allowing no views. Crossing a couple of dry creeks, even though there has been rain here, until it hits a forestry road and follows it up another hill, before you start the down hill run. A lot of Bunya Pine and little else, with the track is well defined.
This track begins at Simpson Falls Picnic Area. It is excellent for wildflower viewing in late winter and spring when the golden wattles and purple hoveas of the open forest understorey burst into bloom. Links with the Eugenia Circuit
