This was a lot easier than I was expecting and so much fun! We decided to go climbing at the north face crag so had a pack full of gear which made it a little more challenging but It was mainly a trailed path with a little bit of slap to cross. There was a couple of short sections that required you to actually think about what your hands and feet were connecting to. I found the slap nothing like Beerwah which was what a few other people had compared it to. It has considerable traction and is of much lower angle. I went up there after a heavy rain and as long as you avoid the really wet rock it’s fine. I also did it with a full pack of climbing gear.

I love this Mountain, short enough to do in a day and with such a variety of terrain and trails up you can mix it up each time you visit!

Despite torrential rain this walk didn’t disappoint, As long as you’re not scared of leeches this walk is perfect for going barefoot and the waterfall really is beautiful. The best thing about going out in the rain was it wasn’t crowded, I only ran into a couple of other people on the track.

Did this as part of a circuit including Steamers, epic hike, slippery muddy ascent from the bottom and path hard to follow in places so make sure you have a map downloaded.

Rewarding walk for not too much effort. Had fun taking our time up and exploring all the different rock formations along the way. Lots of wildlife including rock wallabies and Australian King Parrots. Nice little stream half way up to have a play in and cool down.

Great views and scrambles up the SE Ridge. Nice clear track most of the way up, can sometimes lose the trail over the rocky parts but easy to get back on if you keep following the ridge up. Make sure to take some time to go off the track a bit and look at the amazing views of Ernest, Lindsey and Maroon.

We had trouble finding the trail originally but eventually made it to the lookout however there not a lot to see and the trail itself was pretty standard. Not one I’m eager to repeat.

Fantastic climb and scramble. Lots of different routes but is quite slippery when damp and loose rocks are everywhere so be careful. Going back to try a different route again soon, great views on the way up.
