Great morning hike, not too many people and well worth it for the views from the lookout. Well signed so you won’t lose your way.

Well signed walk between the trailheads. Partly shaded although wouldn’t want to be doing it too late in the day. Good to have a rest break at one end and refuel for the way back. Start at either end for an enjoyable hike. Took about 2hrs 20 minutes to complete.

Easy circuit which we enjoyed doing before breakfast, took about an hour with time to take a few photos along the way. I am sure this was closer to 4.1km from the Tibrogargan trailhead carpark. Enjoyable for all ages!

Not sure I would mark this as easy compared to Tibrogargan circuit. Definitely uphill with plenty of steps along the way. Great to stop at the caves for a few photos. Plenty of people had also packed a picnic lunch for the top which is a great idea - will do next time. Saw plenty of families doing this hike so achievable for all ages, just don’t think it was super ‘easy’

Not so much a hike but more an incline walk up a concrete road to the top. Well worth it for the different view back towards the Glasshouse Mountains. The roundhouse at the top has some interpretive signage which is helpful.

Heart starter but doesn’t take too long to reach the top, and the view is totally worth it. Well signed, paved route. Easy parking at the trailhead, you will just need to walk to another park just past the school if you need a bathroom.

Moderate incline the whole way up, so a good heart starter but still very enjoyable. Took about 2.5hrs including a short break at the top. Stunning views.

We are experienced hikers so this was an easy walk to the Underground Creek. Jump the rocks on the right side of the underground creek to be able to walk up a little bit and climb up on top of the rocks. There you will see where the water flows into the underground creek, which at this time of year after so much rain, was absolutely stunning. Travel a bit further to your SE and get to the Aztec Temple, it is off track but well worth finding.

Very easy and well sign posted walk from Dr Roberts Carpark. Note that this carpark has no bathrooms, so stop at the main visitor centre on the way if you need a bathroom break. Was a great walk, which we added Underground Creek + Aztec Temple in order to make it a longer hike. Very easy for young families.

Accidentally ended on this trail after turning left on the border track at O’Reillys instead of right to Box Forest Circuit. Was a lovely hike, not overly challenging but took us around 4hrs to complete back to Green Mountains day use area with a few short breaks throughout. Plenty of lovely photo spots! Great walk

Steep walk and a real heart starter from the beginning but a great walk with stunning views to your right the whole way up! Took about 1.5hours up with a number of breaks to wait for the group - could do in just over an hour I feel. About 45 down. One of my favourites out of Barney and Flinders. Looking forward to doing it again. Please note there are NO toilets at the carpark unlike Mt Barney Yellow Pinch. Be prepared and stop before you arrive! If you must go in the bushes like I did, then be careful as there are A LOT of people who’ve been in there before! With this walk as popular as it is, surely they will need to put in some facilities soon! |

Mt Barney - East Peak - Up Logan's - Down South (Mt Barney National Park) |

Had no idea what we were getting into as our friend who’d been on Logan’s a few times only told us we were doing Mt Barney. Let’s just say this route is not for faint hearted! Do not attempt if you are afraid of heights or exposure. There are many times where you’ll need some composure to pull yourself around a high ledge to keep moving. It also got to the point where it would have just been too steep to go down so the only way was up. Luckily our friend knew the route. I would not recommend doing it unless you had someone to guide you who has done Logan’s before. You could easily take the wrong way and end up in a hairy position. All up it took us about 3.5hrs from the carpark at Yellow Pinch to reach the summit from Logan’s, including some rest breaks. About another 3.5hrs down via SE route. We did loose the trail going down a few times which is super easy to do! You’ll need some rock scrambling experience and a good sense of direction and our trail map to complete this! Good luck!

Very easy, stunning walk. We decided to do this walk after a nice BBQ lunch at the picnic area at the end of Knoll Road. I was dressed in jeans and sneakers - that aren't really designed for walking. The walk was stunning and would be great for all ages and abilities.

Also known as Polly's this is a pretty steep 2km before gradually heading downhill to reach Pages Pinnacle. I find that the use of walking poles definitely helps, particularly on the trip back down the hill due to the often dusty and slippery track. Have walked this many times over the years and whilst there isn't any good views until Pages Pinnacle it is a pleasant whilst also challenging walk.
