Coalstoun Lakes National Park - Volcanic rock climb with spectacular scenic views of the hills and valleys. Very overgrown & lost the track not even half way so had to turn back😞. Thank goodness for my waterproof hikers and hiking poles to clear the grass ahead of me. Loads of bird life singing in the early morning, but couldn’t get much of a look at them as top canopy too thick. Can’t wait to go back when the track is cleared. |

A lovely walk through eucalypt rainforest and open areas. Well worth the step climbing in some sections, to see the spectacular rock formations and colours. Lots of bird and wildlife if walking at dawn. Amazing, apart from the senseless vandals wrecking the surroundings with graffiti in a few places. Simply lovely. | ||||

Really lovely, scenic walk overlooking the bay. Totally spectacular views. Lots of bird life including red tailed black cockatoos. Good walking shoes required, a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water. Lots of stone steps of varying heights. Would love to do it again at dawn as the sun and the birds rise. Annie M |
