| Went up my first time for a sunrise. Nice and challenging on the legs; it wasn’t too difficult to find my way up in the dark, just with a headlamp. Took map and compass, though it wasn’t needed. Departed the car park at 3:50 am, and arrived at the summit at 6:13 |

| Fantastic walk. Walked down to the bottom of the falls for a some lunch. Jumped into the lovely pond under the falls to cool down. Proceeded to explore down below the falls and further down stream, climbing down (no ropes) until no longer possible. There were caves at the bottom of the gorge I could see in the distance. Returning back up the stairs, stopping to admire the ancient art along the way, I realised there was a track to the top of the falls which I explored extensively, (be careful!) You can follow a path up to the lovely, large and deep ‘plunge’ pools along the creek on top of the falls. I then back tracked to the car park. Can’t recall the times as I am recalling from Feb of this year, but took up most of the day. Was camped at the campground and drove to the start of the track. |

| Beautiful meander along south Mimosa creek, a very well defined track with an easy creek crossing. (Crossed just after a day of rain and no issues keeping feet dry) An incline up a very well defined track, to a beautiful lookout. Wandered back down to the creek crossing and headed south along the creek itself. Amazing rock features along the way and one of the largest free standing boulders I’ve seen. The creek has a large drop off so couldn’t continue. No real view, but was still worth it. Headed back up and back the same way along the track. |
