Lovey walk! Took an unfit group of us about 3 hours. The start is a very steep hill that we struggled with but once you get past that it’s quite a lovey forest type trail and not too difficult again until the very last part. Definitely one anyone could do even if you have to talk it slow. Do wish they had cleared just two small trees from the top so they view was more worth it. |

As a rather unfit person who likes hiking but has to take many breaks this was quite a challenge for me. I thought I could just put one foot in front of the other and get it done but I had definitely used my max effort by the time I got back to the car! In saying that it was a great walk up. The little bit of scrambling at the end was super fun. It’s was very easy to find foot and hand holes so wasn’t scary just a nice little climb. The view from the top is amazing although not a huge area so I could imagine it being a bit squishy on busy days. Coming back down was the toughest part for me. It was very slippery I had to go extremely slow. For reference of how unfit I am it took me about 5 hours to do this walk. Would absolutely recommend this walk |

Nice walk! Especially the last little part - that was quite fun. Although I am very unfit and had to stop a lot along the way I’d say it’s quite an easy walk. I saw many children doing it- including a man carrying one child on his front and one on his back. There was a lady with a baby. School children etc etc I would say anyone could do this walk- even if you have to take a break every few hundred metres, just put one foot in front of the other and soon you’ll be looking at a lovely view! Easy coming down as well- not slippery like some walks I’ve done. |

This is an amazing walk but I definitely did not expect it to be so tough based on the other reviews! To be fair I am quite unfit and myself and the people I went with aren’t experienced but it was slightly terrifying. Did not realise there would be climbing. There were no ropes when we went through. We got it done and managed to get to the top which is well worth it and the climbing was quite exciting just a lot more than we bargained for! Although we passed someone on the way who had already been up and down twice that morning. I can’t remember exactly but it took us somewhere between 3-4 hours. We also found ourselves sliding down on our bums a few times on the way back. Definitely stop by Mollydookers for lunch if your way home is through Childers. |
