Nice walk to visit in Spring, lots of wildflowers. Check out Illawarra Lookout at the beginning. There is also a slightly hidden lookout at the end (you will see an opening in the bush just past the end of the walk sign).

Great views and rock shelves. The swimming hole and waterfall towards the end is a good place to cool off. Past the waterfall the ascent seems to just keep going! I recommend doing this walk on a day that's not too hot. Wondabyne Train has a beautiful setting.

Very easy walk, it's a bit hard to see the view due to the high trees. Suprising how the bush turns into heathland so quickly.

A beautiful and challenging walk with many waterfalls to see. Slacks Stairs (ladders) was a little scary but well worth it. Highly recommend a day or two after rain.

I think this is the most waterfall dense bushwalk I've been on. Simply amazing. Try to go a couple of days after the rain.

A popular walk. It's a shame that you cannot walk behind the waterfall anymore but at least with the new bridge you can complete the circuit.

Calna Bridge is fixed! Good walk to do just after the rain. If you are up for it I recommend starting the walk from Hornsby. If you do this way you can park at Rosemead Rd, at Ku-ring-gai get the train back to Hornsby, then get a taxi back to your car (there's a taxi rank right outside the station).

Good walk to do just after the rain. It's a bit hilly. If you are up for it I recommend continuing the walk through to Ku-ring-gai Station. If you do this you can park at Rosemead Rd, at Ku-ring-gai get the train back to Hornsby, then get a taxi back to your car (there's a taxi rank right outside the station).

Pleasant walk. Don't forget to go up once you reach the rock shelf (it's not clearly signed, except for a couple of red flags along the way). Great views at the top.

Great walk. The walk guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. So many different plants and things to see here. I highly recommend booking more than a month in advance as this is the only walk that requires a guide. The guide will only take a maximum of 20 people per day so the tickets sell out fast.

A pleasant walk through the rainforest. Easy enough for families with small kids. The informational signs throughout the walk are great. The sign in the picnic area states this walk is the Rainforest Circuit (2km), this is not correct. The track is definitely the Pitta Circuit (1km return).

An amazing walk, the walk goes through many different environments. The view of the Hawkesbury River at the end was simply amazing. All the wildflowers were out. Highly recommend doing this one. I took the guided tour, it was very informative but took the option to ditch them on the way back (they were a bit slow).

Easy sealed walk. Nice waterhole at the end. The section leading to the waterfall lookout is currently closed due to rock slide (people are still going through though). This is a very popular walk. The carpark was full. |
