Track appears to be open, though we saw a sign facing the wrong way on the way back warning not to go any further. The national parks site doesn't list this track as closed.

The picnic area at the top is particularly pretty with a lookout. Part of the circuit is closed. There is access to Cameron Falls but you then have to back-track to get back to the carpark. Not a lot of water going over the falls, but it's certainly not dry.

Lovely walk. We did all of the side tracks but found the view from an open paddock on the main track better than the Barker Creek Lookout from which we could see very little. We also couldn't see any falls from the Big Falls Lookout. However, all of the other falls were very pretty. I enjoyed the last leg the best between the Paradise Falls car park and Dandabah - very pretty, yet we didn't pass anyone else on that part of the track.

Waterfall was dry. Never the less, a great view. We did this as part of a walk from Paradise carpark to Mt Kiangarow and back along the road. Didn't see another person along the track at all.

So far as mountains go, this is a nice easy walk with a gentle incline all the way to the top. Several pockets of grass trees along the way which are quite pretty. The path is really good too.

Walked from the Paradise Carpark all the way to Mt Kiangarow and back along the road. The lookout gives a great view as do all of the lookouts along this track. Really enjoyed it.

I have always though of the West Canungra Creek circuit as my favourite walk, but this one is just as good. There was low cloud at the southern end and so no visibility at the lookouts, but walking through it was fantastic. Great photos!

The first 1 km is hard, and water is definitely a must. There is a swimming hole at the bottom to cool off.

Couldn't find the stick arrow or the path up so we made our own way. Ended up on the eastern peak. It was quite hard walk up. We did find a path at the top but were a little confused as to which way we should be heading so tried to re-trace our steps back down. However we we found ourselves cutting a new path, and this was even harder. It was quite steep and the ground underfoot was quite loose. Found what looks like the path up when we got back down so we'll have to try again. It looks like the path is a little before the gully between the two peeks. All in all we had a good time and are looking forward to another try.

Really nice walk, though the top was disappointing. The path is easy to see though we did take a wrong track at one point towards the top. It met up again with the main track though so it didn't matter. Once you hit the sign saying 300m to go, there are two steep sections, but all in all quite okay. I would agree though that it is a hard walk and you need a fairly high level of fitness.

We'd had quite a bit of rain so the track was quite wet. We even needed to take off our shoes to cross one small watercourse. There were a couple of trees down over the path too which we needed to climb through. The private property sign at the end is frustrating even when you are expecting it.

This is a walk in the park after Mt Greville and Mt Edwards, since you drive to the top. Very pleasant. Nice lookout. |
