Took us about an hour. A nice walk through the rainforest, some steep parts but easy enough to complete.

10km, 3hrs. Mostly shady walk through some scrub and rainforest. Well worth the walk, the falls from the base are spectacular! The scrambling over boulders at the end was fun although a little slippery on the wet rocks. I'd go again and have a dip
Rainforest Circuit (Main Range National Park)

Easy rainforest walk with a nice lookout view of the old volcanic peaks. 1.9km took me 40 minutes (including photo and lookout time). Saw a few pademelons.
Box Forest Track (Main Range National Park)

There hasn't been any rain so the creek was dry. Saw pademelons, a lyre bird and a huge goanna. The walk ends at the West Gap Creek picnic area which looks like a nice place to visit for a picnic. There were a couple of trees down on the path and one area where the ground had been washed away exposing deep tree roots - I spent a lot of time exploring there! 6.45 kms in 2 hours (including a few side quests down the dry creek bed and a brief stop for a sandwich)

Mt Warning Summit Trail (Wollumbin National Park)
23 Jan, 2019
Hard
8.3km return
5 hrs
There is really small writing on one of the entry boards that says climbing the summit is against the wishes of the Bundjalung Elders. I wish I had known that before I did it!

Took me about 5 hours total, I had heaps of resting stops on the way up because I'm not very fit and steps are my sworn enemy. Eventually I made the (seemingly infinite) scramble to the top and the views were pretty outstanding. On the way a whipbird called right in front of me, that was nice. My legs were jelly by the time I got back to the carpark.

Please don't leave your toilet paper on the trail, take it with you or get a pee rag!
Burringbar Mountain (New South Wales)
21 Jan, 2019
Medium
3km return
2 hrs
This one is a bit more off the beaten track than previous walks I've done, but still really easy to find and follow. A bit overgrown and heaps of spiderwebs to eat on the way in. The cicadas are ear splitting, heard a kookaburra. Some steep parts. I only did up to the marker at the top and back (3KM, 1HR). I stopped a lot to look around, it's quite beautiful, peaceful and secluded.
Burringbar Range Tunnel (New South Wales)

Easy
6.2km return
2.5 hrs
Took me 1HR15MINS to do 5KM in and back. I didn't go very far in the tunnel cos I'm a scaredy cat but far enough to see the bats. Saw a snake along the path but it got out of my way pretty quick.
Tweed River Walk (New South Wales)
19 Jan, 2019
Easy
8.2km return
90 mins
I started at the Chris Cunningham Park and headed toward the river, away from the Twin Towns Services Club. Strolled along the river to the Island Drive bridge then headed back. Took just under an hour all up. Wide, flat path the whole way shared with bikes.

LOVED this walk, lots of beautiful beach inlets to explore. Much better than Tweed River Walk. I walked it in my thongs and stopped a lot to take photos. Would walk again.
