An absolutely misty, green, lush, and gorgeous gem in Lamington NP. A slightly wet day today, which really added to the ambience. Waterfalls were flowing well, but tracks were super muddy! No reports of leeches in our party :)

We thought 4 - 5.5 hours (according to Parks QLD) was a bit much for 10.9 km but you really don't want to rush this one! Especially with climbing over rocks to get to some of the falls, taking photos, etc. If you start after noon and want to take your time, forget it.

Nice morning out to be by the water. Lots of locals around going for a jog, some dogs here and there, folks taking their kids out. Seems like a bit of a birdwatching spot, we saw a few people out with giant cameras.

Pretty easy walk overall IMO and would be great for trail running. Very lucky to have this so close to home :)

Start off at Gertrude Petty and cross the Mt. Gravatt Outlook Drive to the other side. Once you go through the gates it's only bitumen for a little bit. The track will be on your left near the water tanks :)

Sections of Federation Track are closed so no loop unfortunately.

Pretty simple walk, nothing too exciting but good to have some greenery in the burbs. No wallabies or koalas today unfortunately. Lots of birbs and baby goannas.

We omitted the fence line and western Downfall Creek section, starting from Raven St Reserve, through Milne Hill and ended at the Chermside Hills Reserve parking lot. Some of the unsigned tracks from the notes are kinda messy rn, probably from the recent rain, lots of branches and washed up leaves. The public toilets on the oval near Milne Hill were v convenient.

Don't forget your mozzie spray! Very brutal right now. Also edited the description from a text wall to dot points as per Jen's suggestion :)
