This is a nice walk if you only have a spare hour or two. A bit overgrown by lantana in parts but definitely worthwhile.

This was actually a pretty decent walk which would have been even better if I’d taken togs. View from the top is spectacular and worth the Beaudesert heat, although perhaps not once summer hits. Also a surprised I didn’t see a single snake.

This was a good walk through eucalypt forest and some pine plantation with at least one terrific view along the way. It seems like what is a 4wd drive trail can be taken most of the way but there are many cross-crossed trails from which to choose a route. We ended up going with an apple maps suggestion which did the trick and helped us find an echidna. The track is a bit of a roller coaster and one gadget suggested we had a total elevation gain of about 500m. With an 11yr old hiker in the group and a few snack breaks, we completed it in 3.5 hours. Would do again |

A nice stroll that I'd probably go on regularly if I lived locally but I wouldn't drive over an hour for this one again. Some steep sections with a lot of scree made a bit of slow going but it was a decent walk on what seems like a trail occasionally used by 4wds in parts. The creek was pretty but the water level was down when I was there. There are a lot of interconnected tracks to explore for another time, so that's a positive; as long as you don't get lost. But that seems unlikely.

This is a nice walk with plenty of great views and Lace Monitors. Clockwise would definitely be my suggestion so as to finish with The Governor's Chair but either direction would still bring perks as the view north over the H'way is also spectacular. The track is well marked and the bush has a good variety, with eucalypt and rainforest, both.

This was a good hike but hot, and not easy to find the trail until you get to the south side of the South peak and head down to the 4wd track.

This was a good walk with plenty to see. The number and beauty of waterfalls here is hard to exaggerate. When combined with the bird life and the many stunning views of the valley/canyon, it's gotta go straight to the pool room,
