This circuit leads through open woodland and heathland linking Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Tibberoowuccum. Interpretive signs along the track provide details of the area's special features. The Jack Ferris lookout, on Trachyte Ridge, allows for good views of the surrounding peaks. This ridge owes its name to a type of volcanic rock which forms many of the Glass House Mountains peaks.

We walked as far as the Jack Ferris lookout, where we met two exhausted girls on their way back. They told us that after the lookout, the signage disappears and they had been lost for hours. It was a hot day and we had limited water so we decided not to risk it and turned back.

Nice run

We walked this track while trying to find the track up to Mt Tibberoowuccum. As we couldn't find this track, we ended up completing the whole circuit before having another look. It's a relatively easy track, and the lookout 1.9km is quite good.

A really good walk for the family, our two kids (7&8) made it easy. Make sure you walk the extra distances to the lookouts along the way, well worth it. A good mix of bush tracks, forest, creeks and hills

A leisurely track to take in the surrounds. A few areas were a little hard to stay on the path but overall a nice walk. It should suit most fitness levels. Easy parking and well signed at the start.

Nice walk. A different view of Tibro can be had from Jack Ferris Lookout.

Did an extended version of this walk around August last year and loved it. Fantastic and not too much hard work, so lots of time to look at the scenery. The track was full of runners, walkers and kids of all ages and I image it is regularly as busy. We didn't attempt the summit walk as we were a bit tired so we'll come back for that another time.

Easy walk. We did this one after already doing Mt Gnungun and Tibberoowuccum. We did the offshoot walk to the cliff face just past the Matthew Flinders carpark which surprisingly got a bit steep but was worth the extra 1.2km

Great walk to stretch your legs!
