Getting there:

Off the Bruce Highway at Nerang on the Gold Coast take the Nerang Murwillumbah Road. Signposted after the dam take a left onto Pine Creek Road and left again onto Springbrook Road that leads you up onto and across the plateau to the various lookouts and walks.

This walk starts from either the Tallanbana picnic area or Canyon Lookout.

Springbrook National Park

Route/Trail notes:

The track is easy to follow but steep in places and can be completed in either direction although anti-clockwise is recommended. There are two junctions where the Warrie Circuit meets this circuit, one near Twin Falls and the other at the base of Blackfellow Falls, but both are well signposted.

Permits/Costs:

None.

Other References/Comments:

The area is very busy particularly at weekends and parking can therefore be a problem.

If you can, visit local information centre a couple kms from Canyon Lookout. I believe it was once the original schoolhouse.

A cooling swim and a picnic at Twin Falls is well worth the effort of the walk down.

Lovely walk with a little water coming over the falls. Must go back after a decent downpour. The rock formations were an unexpected and pleasant surprise.

Nice walk.
Beautiful rainforest scenery.
Well marked.
Easy to do alone.
Was more a single fall, rather than Twin falls, when I went, but still pretty nonetheless.

Lovely walk with a mix of trees and huge rocks to make it interesting. Only one of the falls was flowing as we went during a dry spell.

Beautiful! And quite short - we did this as part of the larger Warrie Circuit.

Such a lovely relaxed walk! I did this with my husband and our son. Was very cold and track bit wet and muddy but all in all some great views and the caves were amazing to walk through and walking behind the twin falls

Absolutely gorgeous rainforest, waterfalls and streams.
Heard alot of birds but didn't see much wildlife (this walk doesn't need it)
Great view at Canyon Lookout.
If you're in the area, pop into The Best of All Lookout on your way home (only an extra 700m (round trip) but worth the view)

What an awesome walk ... way better that Purling Brook falls. Heaps of water falls and views. A lot easier walk than purling brook (so many stairs) as well. Only issue is the limited parking spaces means you have to park on the side of the road on most weekends.

This is one of the most beautiful walks I've ever been on. It isn't too strenuous and the scenery is magical.

Easy to complete and very well maintained but the concrete ramps are a killer if you are walking back up them.

Quick and easy walk with lots of things look at along the way. Great swimming hole at the bottom. Loved it!

Stunning views. Black skinks (land mullets) abound and we spotted a pademelon towards the end as well.

Beautiful walk preferred this loop more than the more popular purling

Another great visit. Was very busy due to the holiday period so get there early.

Very easy, beautiful walk after the recent rain. Perfect swimming hole at the bottom of the waterfall, great views from the top.

Pretty easy walk. Just had my 3L camelbak day pack, Akubra and hiking boots - did me well. Heaps of lush views of hinterlands, waterfalls and the walk itself is very scenic.
