Warrie Circuit

Springbrook National Park

Beautiful walk through the valley. Pass and go through lots of waterfalls and rainforest.

Stop at Apple Tree Park for toilet stop on way. Circuit is another 5-10min drive from there.

Public toilets are also located at Tallanbana Picnic Area approximately 300m on the right before Canyon Lookout where Warrie Circuit begins - toilets are set back off the road and can't be seen from the road, but, they're there just behind the picnic tables.

Cuts across the Ngarri-dhum Falls a few times in one half, and the Little Nerang Creek in the other half. The half way point is the Meeting of the Waters where (as the name suggests) the two creeks meet.

Route/Trail notes

From the Canyon lookout turn right and follow the path. The path is extremely well signed and marked. There are a few turnoffs for the 4km Twin Falls circuit, but stay right. It's virtually impossible to get lost. The first few kilometres head downhill past a few beautiful waterfalls. After while you lose altitude into the rainforest. A few switch backs downhill and you end up at the half way point, where all the creeks meet. Beautiful place to stop for lunch.

The walk back up hill isn't steep with lots of switch backs. At one stage near the top you get near another waterfall. There's a sign pointing to the Twin Falls circuit, but turn right and walk behind the waterfall. Best part of the trek! Follow the climb back up and walk along the ridge back to the car, checking out views all the way to Surfers Paradise.

The rain gods delivered for us, and we were rewarded with many stunning falls

Not bad at all although I wouldn't call this a hard walk. Quite long but not hard

First day of Spring and we decided to tackle Warrie Circuit! Going down down down into the forest was amazing and the scenery along the way was just stunning. We saw a little paddy melon along the way but lucky for us still didn’t see any snakes!
The meeting of the waters was a little dry from lack of rain. I can imagine this would be amazing after some heavy rain.
Loved the water falls along the way and of course once you hike yourself up up up again you end up finishing up on twin falls circuit. We went right and ended up at the lookout and the views there and all along there are just bloody amazing! Breathtaking!
Took us 4 hours with stops!

4 hours with some stops to climb.

This hike was a long hike but worth every step there was so many waterfalls I wish we had done it after some rain but that only brings in leaches so I'm happy to have done it but may do it again after some rain. We stopped and had something to eat at The meeting of the waters. lovely day.

Absolutely stunning and much easier than expected

Awesome walk - such a sense of adventure! Climbing over fallen logs, rocky ledges, and going behind some epic waterfalls! Camera is a MUST. Note no toilets at the start of the walk - you'll have to go to one of the cafes nearby.

Great walk. Definitely does not feel like 17km - even with an accidental 3/4 of the Twin Falls Circuit done on top of it. Completed counter-clockwise in less than 5.5hrs with a couple of decent breaks. Meeting of the Waters was definitely a highlight! No wildlife today, sadly.

This is a bit of a South East Queensland classic walk! It really doesn't feel like 17km - there is so much to see along the way, the entertainment value is brilliant and inspiring. Many incredible waterfalls and rivers, so it's a superb walk to do in the wet. Can't rate this highly enough. Note that it's down down down all the way, then up up up all the way, so keep a little energy in the tank for the return half of the voyage!

A truly awesome walk after rain when all the falls are flowing well, the meeting of the waters is brilliant, a walk I will do again and again.

Stunning walk! Not difficult at all. Gets very busy later in the day so go early! Best done after a decent rain to see the waterfalls in action :)

Hello all....21-4-2018 17 klm walk around Springbrook.....Fantastic walk..not very challenging, however great water feature vistas. All was going well until hitting the 10 klm mark (meeting place) where the three rivers meet. So we all decided to off our shoes n socks and paddle in the crystal clear inviting waters cascading from pool to pool...of course we looked at the water condition before entering.....after about 5 minutes in water up to my knees I began to have sharp needle like sting sensations in my feet...it became unbearable ...exiting the waters to try and identify the cause...there was nothing....small welts started appearing over my feet and the pain was intense.....I dropped an antihistamine after flushing effected area...no relief ...I had to walk the remaining 7 klms in agony........once back at the car park and my shoes and socks off..the pain stopped..??????????? Weird...what it was ...No idea..however...stung like crazy. Anyway, as I said it was a great walk apart from being stung and knee to feet covered in leeches. If anybody knows what caused my stings and pain...please let me know.....what ever it was was not clearly visible to the naked eye....
