Aussie Bushwalking can keep track of your bushwalks.
Login/signup to tick this walk off.A hilly landscape with grassy open forest features in this park. Along creeks and sheltered gullies, tall wet eucalypt forest and rainforest grows. Horse riders, mountain bike riders and walkers can enjoy the tranquillity of this park on shared trails, natural surfaces and gentle gradients.
Take the Eumundi Noosa Road off the Bruce Highway (Exit 224) and head east towards Noosa. 500m after the second Eumundi roundabout, turn right into Seib Road and left after 1.7km into Verrierdale Forest Road. 400m along this gravel road is the park gates and a small area to leave your vehicle.
Recommend that you print off a copy of the Park map to help you. Travel straight in from the gate for 400m, to the 'junction' of all the walks. Signposted from here, turn right and head down the undulating track to the Allandale Road Gate, where you track right and then left through the swamp Paperbark woodland, which is frequently wet and boggy. You then pick up the main trail again that takes you straight down to North Arm Gate. Return by the same route.
None.
This area has a rich history of timber milling and cattle grazing, having been the boundary of three massive cattle runs: Canando, Yandina and North Kenilworth. Judging by the size of many of the remaining trees, I guess some conservation and regeneration was in the minds of the loggers.
