Mt. Beerwah - Alpine Route

Glass House Mountains National Park

Steep and tricky scramble followed by a nasty scrub bash section, climbing the North West side to join the upper tourist track. Basic rock climbing skills are needed to ascend the first 100m. Rope and some trad gear would be advisable on the lower section to lead a group.

A route of a strong wild environment and adventure character not to be taken lightly by inexperienced route finders.

Darling Downs South West

The Yelarbon Desert is a magnificent desert wilderness made from elevated, eroded level silty plains, these landforms are isolated to areas around Yelarbon near the State border. Grassland is scattered with shrubs and trees of Bull Oak, Tea tree, Belah Mallee Box and Poplar Box.

Much of the land type in this region consists of eroded soil, salinity scald, bleached sandy loam and light clay with intermittent Pitted Bluegrass, spinifex and Windmill (Inquisitive) grass and Roly Poly.

Our guided walk will take you into some of the most Eastern Desert in Australia at Yelarbon in South West Queensland. We do not rush... but take our time to experience the country’s beauty.

Enjoy a chat and a relaxing cup of Billy Tea & Anzac biscuits with your guide Julie Boyce on your return.

North Gorge Walk (Point Lookout)

North Stradbroke Island - Minjeeribah

Straddie’s impressive headland walk called the North Gorge walk is located at the north western end of Point Lookout and is the best vantage point on the island to watch the whales and marine life pass right before your eyes.
The walk encompasses the best of both worlds, with its raw and jagged headland to one side, and natural bushland on the other. Known for its best viewing experience of migrating humpback whales, the Gorge Walk also has a unique rock formation called the ‘Blow Hole’, similar to that of a humpback whale. The Gorge Walk is a North Stradbroke Island icon and reveals just how pristine and unspoiled the island truly is.
Access to the Gorge Walk is on Moloomba Road at Point Lookout, opposite Fishes Cafe and the Oceanic Gelati Shop.
