A great evening stroll along a coastal track between Moonta Bay and Port Hughes; maybe it should be called 'jetty to jetty'.

This is one trail that I had read about before our visit to South Australia. In the hot weather, this was quite a push, but it was great to get out around the backblocks and read about its history. Locals have done a great job of restoring this trail to a high standard, so that everyone can enjoy it.

Within 24 hours of arriving in South Australia and we are at the top of the Mount Lofty enjoying the great views of Adelaide laid out below us. Yep, and we got to see a Bandicoot!

Been here many times fishing, but this was the first time having a look around for interesting walks. Cafes at both ends, made it all worthwhile and the local council has excelled itself with the amount of information it has provided on the flora and fauna.

After a great night's camping we are out early to finish off another couple of walks to round off the weekend. Plenty of birdlife around and the changing environment made this a very pleasant walk.

Took the opportunity to carry on beyond the Gold Mine and include this walk. The Cairn is fascinating, just such a shame that there is no information board there to tell you about it.

Based ourselves at Camping Area 1 for the weekend to do as many of the walks in the area that time would allow. Prime objective on Saturday was to complete this great little walk to the fire tower. The fire tower is currently being refurbished, so had to circumnavigate the fencing to gain access.

Staying at Glastonbury Creek Camping Area, this was an obvious Sunday morning stole before we packed up and headed back to civilisation. There are a few more walks out from the campsite, but we had to leave those for another visit.

This was less about the walk and more about the abseiling, although the view from the lookout is expansive.

The fun part is watching the intrepid abseilers disappear over the cliff edge to the bottom some 75m below on any one of the 26 points.

We came here to walk to Pearson Lookout and found this delightful walk along, across and around Scrubby Creek.

Covered both the Scrubby Creek Circuit and the lookout in one. Made an attempt to carry on beyond the lookout hoping it might get to the top of Mount Mudlo, but the track has not been maintained and became denser and denser with foliage that inhibited progress.
