Did this walk as part of the Flute Cape track. We walked the Fluted Cape track anti-clockwise which meant we finished on the grass track and headed back to the start. Fantastic views from the top of the Fluted Cape. We did not see any white wallabies, but did see numerous wallabies. Very interesting flora and definitely worth doing.

Did this walk after spending the nigh at the Penitentiary. Absolutely mind blowing to be standing among the 275 million year old fossils, and makes you feel insignificant in the grand scope of time. Very easy walk and we explored all of the old ruins on the way.

This was our return walk after three days. We took the Inland track on the return. Definitely a lot harder than the coastal track as there are quite a few large ridges to traverse over. The walk is very pleasant and the vegetation here is almost rain forest like compared to the drier coastal walk. We also took the Oast house branch back to Darlington.

Very long walk which is tough going when carrying a big pack. We dropped our packs just after the fork in the trail to Haunted Bay/Robey farm and completed the rest of the walk with day packs. The walk itself is through tea tree and scrub, but the view at the end of the walk made it all worth while.

Took the early ferry (10.30) and after signing the walkers registration, we set off on the coastal track. We did a short detour via the painted cliffs but the tide was in so could not go very far or get any decent photo's. We arrived at French's Farm at round 3.30 and set up camp. Lovely walk and very trying as we were not used to carrying heavy packs. Clean toilet and fresh water available here. |

Done this walk on a number of occasions. Very dry and a lot of trees dead due to drought and fires. No water flowing in any of the creeks. Managed to explore quite a few areas which would normally be inaccessible when the creeks a running.

Had a day to kill, so decided to do this walk again having done it over 10 years ago. No one else on the walk despite many cars in the car park. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the views from the top.

This was my second time on this walk. I decided to go up Palm Gorge, have a rest on the exposed rock plateau then on to the top. I then returned via Waterfall Gorge. A few steep sections but relatively easy walk. The gorges are beautiful and cool. I will do this walk again.

An absolutely stunning alpine walk. We left early in the morning with ice on the track in places. Easy walk and very scenic. We took over 6 hours to do the return walk because we kept stopping every few minutes for photos or to just take in the fresh cold mountain air and to enjoy all the views.

After Uluru, we were blown away by the size and grandeur of the Olgas. We did both walks in the one day by getting there very early. When we set out it was very cold being late winter, but it warmed up to a picture perfect day. Beautiful and majestic.

This was one of the bucket list walks. We started very early in morning and managed to catch the sunrise over Uluru. Absolutely stunning. We then walked leisurely clockwise around the base and did all the side tours on the way. We spent nearly all day in this magical place and were reluctant to leave to return to Yulara.

Arrived early from Alice Springs to do this walk. The color of the rocks and soil is absolutely amazing, and photos don't do it any justice. The day ending up being very hot for August and we had plenty of water with us. Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the size and scale of the canyon is bewildering. We just wish we had more time to stay and soak up the vibes.

We spent the rest of day two walking up and down this gorge. This was in my mind the pick of the gorges. The green vegetation against the vivid red rocks was stunning. |
