| Great, fun, off trail hike. QPWS have now put in markers for the Piper Comanche track and the first detour off the main track happens at a marker and is quite obvious. The path after this is fairly easy to follow to begin with but the track is easily lost if you stray off the path. I recommend downloading a map so you can re-position yourself. Once you begin the real decent down the pink markers are a lot more frequent making the track easier to follow but hectic steep. Can easily slip on the loose rocks and leaves. Unfortunately the waterfall is dry at the moment. Still a beautiful spot though. | ||||
