Moderately easy walk, thought it was going to be much harder. Completed in 2.5 hours up to cordeaux than back down through the rainforest circuit. Bare rock is an extra 3.2km. Total was 10.5km from carpark up to Mt cordeaux than back through the rainforest. |

Took 2.5 hours walking but 5 hours in total with all the little stops we did to look at stuff. Rock scrambling was a bit more intense than we anticipated but easily done. Some areas are very overgrown. Our tracker recorded that the track is 10.5km in total

Walked 9.7km in 4.5 hours at a slow pace and lots of pauses in stand offs with multiple snakes Some steep and slippery inclines, lots of creek crossings, a few pademellons and a wallaby. We saw a red belly, and multiple brown snakes right under our feet. Nice walk just need to be careful of snakes and wear Gaiters. |

Piper Comanche Wreck (D'Aguilar National Park) |
24 Sep, 2020 |
Hard |
7.5km return 2 hrs |
|
Track was around 7km there and back, completed in 5 hours. Going down to the wreck and back up was very steep and somewhat challenging. Lots of over grown areas and trees down which block the path. We marked the track with pink tape as it is quite easy to lose the track in some areas. Many of the markers left were not highly visible or had fallen down. At the beginning on the descent to the wreck there is a large stone cairn which stands about knee height - the track also forks at this point - go to your left. Someone has also removed the ammo box as it is no longer in the wreck and couldn't see it anywhere nearby.

Very poor signage, pretty much none at all. Very easy to get lost at 1 crossing over the road. Although most of the track is easily defined, proper signage and more of it would be preferable.
