| A great little hike with amazing views from the summit. I went up the Northern track and came down the Southern track then looped back around past Tibrogargan to make it a bit longer. Of the two trails I prefer the Southern track - it's a bit shadier in the mid-morning and has nicer vegetation (Sheoak+Gum trees with fern understory, vs. a bit more lantana on the northern face). | ||||

| A nice easy walk up to the Western Window lookout, unfortunately at the time of writing the section from Western Window to Lawton road was still closed due to landslides. Still thoroughly enjoyable though. If you want a bit more distance through similar terrain you can also do Joyner's Ridge road. | ||||

| This hike has a number of short steep sections which, combined with the length, make it a little challenging but still totally achievable, and the views make it more than worthwhile! As others have noted the closer you get to the mountain the more sparse the signage, but if you have an offline maps app (maps.me or similar) and have studied the maps prior you shouldn't have any troubles. | ||||
